Most men's group challenges die the same death: a group chat gets created in a burst of enthusiasm, everyone posts for four days, one guy goes quiet, then two, and by week two the chat is memes. The men didn't fail — the structure did. Enthusiasm is a launch fuel, not an engine.

What actually keeps a challenge alive is boring and mechanical: the right group size, rules with zero ambiguity, a daily proof ritual, visible scoring, and a defined end date. Get the group size and duration right first

Five to eight men is the working range. Below five, one dropout collapses the energy and there's nowhere to hide a bad week — which sounds good but actually makes men quit rather than show up imperfect.
